Staying in North Pattaya
Courtyard by Marriott North Pattaya is in North Pattaya, the calmer end of the city. It is a practical base for both business and leisure travellers: Terminal 21 and the northern stretch of the beach are close, Naklua and Wong Amat Beach are just beyond, and the busier centre is a short ride south.
North Pattaya is also the first part of the city you reach coming off the motorway, so the drive into town is usually straightforward. You avoid most of the slow seafront traffic that can build up further south in the evening.
Coming from Don Mueang
Many regional and budget flights land at Don Mueang, on the north side of Bangkok. The drive from there takes two to two and a half hours, since the route crosses the city before joining the motorway east. A sedan costs THB 1,400 from Don Mueang, THB 1,000 from Suvarnabhumi and THB 1,200 from central Bangkok. Our Don Mueang to Pattaya taxi page explains where to meet the driver.
- Meet and greet with a name sign in arrivals
- Flight tracked, no charge for delays
- Innova, Fortuner or van for extra luggage
- Pay the driver in cash after the ride
Drop-off and onward plans
The Bangkok to Courtyard North Pattaya taxi ends at the hotel lobby. Coming for a conference or meeting? Tell us the time you need to arrive and we will suggest a departure time with a buffer for Bangkok traffic. North Pattaya is also a convenient starting point for the return: book a Bangkok to Courtyard North Pattaya taxi back to either airport and the driver will collect you at the lobby.
Travelling as a team? An Innova (THB 1,400) or van (THB 1,900) from Bangkok keeps everyone together in one vehicle, so colleagues arrive at the same time and nobody has to sort out their own ride.
