Between Pattaya Bay and Naklua
Cape Dara Resort stands on the northern headland of Pattaya Bay, where the city gives way to the quieter Naklua district. Guests get sea views and a beachfront setting, yet the shopping and restaurants of North Pattaya are only minutes away. It is a popular pick for couples and for anyone who wants an easy beach break without staying on busy central Beach Road. Wong Amat Beach and the Sanctuary of Truth are close by in Naklua, and Central Festival is an easy ride south for an evening of shopping and dinner.
A relaxed start to the holiday
After a long journey, the nicest way to begin is to sit back and let someone else do the driving. With a Bangkok to Cape Dara Resort taxi you are collected from your hotel, condo or airport arrivals hall and driven straight to the resort — no transfers, no shared minibus stops at other hotels, no meter. The car is yours for the whole trip.
At the resort the driver pulls up at the lobby entrance and helps unload. If you are coming from the airport, our Don Mueang Airport to Pattaya taxi page explains the meeting point there.
Fares, times and the way back
A sedan is THB 1,200 from central Bangkok, THB 1,000 from Suvarnabhumi and THB 1,400 from Don Mueang. From Bangkok city you can also choose an Innova (THB 1,400), Fortuner (THB 1,600) or van (THB 1,900). Tolls and fuel are included and you pay the driver at the end. On your last day, a Bangkok to Cape Dara Resort taxi in reverse picks you up at the same lobby; give us your flight time and we suggest a departure that leaves comfortable margin.
